Payment Method:
Payment by credit card online is the most convenient way of becoming a Cityfood Growers member. Simply enter your details in our membership form, press submit and once the transaction is cleared, you will be sent an email with your tax invoice receipt and your login details to the membership area of our web site.
Transactions are denominated in Australian dollars. We accept the following credit cards: Visa, Mastercard, Bankcard and Diners. Credit card payments are processed through the reputable credit card gateway provider named Eway.com.au. Processing will normally take less than 5 seconds, but may take up to 15 seconds, please do not press the submit button more than once, otherwise your credit card may be charged twice.
Your credit card will be billed to Cityfood Growers Pty Ltd.
If you have any problems with using our membership form and your transaction, please contact us and we will endeavour to respond to you in 24 hours.
 
Conditions for using your credit card online:
  • We will not accept orders with a PO. Box for the member address.
  • A valid telephone number, either fixed line or mobile, is essential on the order form, as we may telephone if there are any issues with your transaction.
  • It is essential to enter your email address on the order form. We will not accept orders where your email address is from a free web based email service. The email address must be from an ISP where we can track the owner of the email address if required.
  • The purchaser's name must be the same as the cardholder name, except if you are a registered corporate customer.
  • We do not appreciate fraudulent credit card transactions and will do all in our power to pursue and prosecute any parties attempting fraudulent use of credit cards. We reserve the right to refuse a transaction, where we suspect that a credit card is being used fraudulently. Our credit card gateway provider applies a number of checking methods to eliminate the potential of fraudulent transactions.

Cityfood Growers Pty Ltd wants to ensure you can use your credit card on our web site with complete confidence. We have taken every possible measure to give you absolute security.
 
Secure transaction environment
Our membership form uses Secure Sockets Layer technology (SSL) to ensure your membership payments are secure at all times. This security is on our membership form hosted at ????, our web host providing, and Eway.com.au, our payment gateway provider. SSL is the industry standard for encryption technology and is compatible with most other browsers. You will know when  transmitted data is safe by the appearance of a secure icon on your browser, which is a lock icon for Microsoft Internet Explorer. Secure web pages can also be identified by their URL: they begin with 'https://'.
 
Your Credit card details
When you complete the membership form, your credit card details are sent to our credit card payment gateway provider, we do not store them in our member database. We receive a truncated version of your card details back from Eway.com.au with the transaction record. This removes one of the biggest security risks of online transactions. In the event of unauthorised use of your credit card, you must notify your credit card provider in accordance with its reporting rules and procedures. Under the conditions of your credit card, your bank cannot hold you liable for more than $50.00 of a fraudulent transaction.
 
Membership renewal:
Approximately one month before your membership is due to expire, you will be sent an email reminding you of the expiry date. You will be provided with an option to renew your membership. Once you reply to this email and if it is to renew your membership, your credit card will be charged for your new subscription. In this case your credit card details are stored from your original transaction by Eway.com.au, our secure credit card gateway.
 
Refund policy:
If you are not happy with your Cityfood Growers paid membership, you will be eligible for a full refund, so long as you notify admin@cityfoodgrowers.com.au of your intention to claim a refund within 14 days of the commencement of your membership. As at the date a refund is paid, you are no longer authorised to access the Cityfood Growers paid member web site.
